Is There A Connection Between the Disappearances and Deaths of these Women in New Haven? Evelyn Frisco was forty two years old, when she was last seen in New Haven of June 2004. The New Haven resident had not had an easy life, she battled substance abuse issues, served prison time for criminal offenses and was at times a prostitute. Law Enforcement and members of her family believe she is dead and probably a victim of foul play. According to her family, Frisco had given information to the New Haven Police that led to an arrest of a drug dealer. The family believes that someone could have paid Frisco back. One of Frisco’s friendss was a woman named Lisa Calvo. Calvo was also a prostitute who battled substance abuse issues. She was last seen in October of 2005. New Haven Police have released a statement indicating if the two disappearances were connected. At the time of her last sighting, Frisco had blue eyes, blonde hair, weighed 125 pounds and was 5 foot 2. She has a tattoo of a butterfly or a rose on her shoulder, a scar on her leg and she wore upper dentures. Calvo was 4 foot 11 and weighed 110 pounds. She had brown hair and eyes and had tattoos on her right leg and thigh. Calvo was forty years old at the time of her last sighting.
Another case of a woman with substance abuse issues was that of Cassandra Mead of East Haven. She was found strangled to death in late August of 2011 at Union and Water Street. What is unusual is that the area is a block away from the New Haven Police Department. The 21 year old had a criminal past and had suffered from Bi-Polar disorder. The murder was particularly brazen because it is near the downtown and so close to a police presence. If you have any information about any of these cases please call 203-946-6316. |

Are there Similarities in the Disappearances of Three Young Men? Three men ranging from the ages of 19 to 24 mysteriously disappear in different towns during the nineteen eighties. Keith Lalima was a father of a young child who lived with his girlfriend at his mother's house. On May 7th 1981, he had an argument with an individual outside the Maple Green Cafe in Norwich. He was last seen walking in the direction of where he lived, the nightclub he was last seen at was located at Maple Street and West Main Street. It is possible that the person he was seen having a confrontation with could have had something to do with his disappearance. Charles Lassell Jr, was nineteen years old when he was last seen at the intersection of Coogan Boulevard and Jery Browne Road in the town of Stonington. He was waiting for a bus to take him to college. He never did take the bus and the last person to see him alive was his father on October 27, 1981. Kenneth Reed was believed last seen at his family's residence in the town of Fairfield on March 24th, 1989. He had no known problems or enemies. His car was found later that night but he was not in it. Earlier that day he had left his job at the Bee Bee Dairy at the Norwichtown Mall, in Norwich. He had gotten coffee on the way home and that is where the trail ends. There is no link between the disappearances of the three except location. Norwich and Stonington are not far from each other.
