Police Still looking for Answers in Abduction and Murder of Child

On the morning of January 29, 1969, the last time anyone saw 11 year old Debra Horn was at her Allentown home she shared with her family. The brown eyed girl had missed school due to a fall. When her family came home, the door to their home was open and their little girl was gone. She had taken nothing with her, including her pet poodles. There was one clue. A studded snowtire track. It is believed that she was abducted from home. Sadly her family would never get to see her alive again. Three teenagers in Sandown found her naked body in an abandoned 1952 Plymouth just months later on August 10th. It is possible that Debra knew her killer.

Around the same time of her homicide, there were two other girls close in age to her that went missing and were found murdered. 15 year old Joanne Dunham went missing from Charleston on June 11, 1968. The next day her body was found on a dirt road off of Quaker City Road in the town of Unity. The teenager had been sexually assaulted and asphyxiated. 13 year old Kathy Gloddy vanished from the downtown area of Franklin. The next day her body was found off a Webster road in the same town. She had been brutally sexually assaulted and died from severe blunt trauma to the head, neck and abdomen.

Murder of Woman and Three Young Children Haunt Town

It is perhaps the most haunting and bizarre crime to hit the state of New Hampshire. In 1985 the unidentified remains of an adult female and a young female child were found in a barrel in the Bear Brook State Park of Allentown. Fifteen years later when police revisted the scene, several hundred yards away another barrel was found containing the unidentified remains of two other young children. The adult female and the child buried in the barrel with her died from blunt trauma to the head. The two younger children found were probably also murdered and though there is not definitive evidence, they are believed to be female. DNA tests proved that the adult female is related to the child found buried with her as well as of one of the other children found in 2000. However, she is not the mother of the children. The adult female was believed to have been between the ages of 23 and 32. She was between the 5'2 and 5'7. She was either caucasian or Native American with light curly brown hair. The two children linked to her were around the ages of 5-10 and 1-3 years old. The child believed to be hers was 4-8 years of age. For a picture of what the victims looked like please view the graphic from Concord Monitor newspaper. Or you can go to an article about the case here. Whoever killed these individuals has not been caught.

New York Highway Murder May Have Suspect from New Hampshire

On February 5, 1997 at 6pm, Richard Aderson who was an assistant superintendent at the Valley Central School District in Montgomery was involved in a fatal road rage incident on Interstate 84 in New York four miles the Newburgh–Beacon Bridge. He was involved in a minor collision with a relatively new green Jeep Cherokee that may have had New Hampshire license plates. Both he and his assailant pulled off the road near exit 12 and a brief argument ensued. The assailant shot Aderson and fled the scene in his vehicle heading east on the highway. Though mortally wounded, Aderson did give the a 911 operator a description of his assailant and the vehicle that he drove.

A police sketch was drawn based on Aderson's description and this murder case was featured on the shows "America's Most Wanted" and "Unsolved Mysteries". It is possible that the sketch may be off but Police believe that the suspect was a white male around six feet tall, with a receding hairline. He wore glasses and may have had a beard. However, the key is the vehicle and the fact that someone may have been traveling or working in that area.
